Ticino River Lodge is composed of young, motivate and experienced fishing guides.

Our guides are able to give you the best opportunities to catch trouts and chars in the waters of Ticino.

All of our guides possess a great sensitivity to the environment and the creatures that live there.

Matteo Roncoroni

Founder and guide, he is a student in

geomorphology at the University of Lausanne. His field of study is remote sensing of salmonid's spawning sites.

He practices spinning and fly fishing.

He loves small streams that flow into the high mountains.

 

Jack Hogan (PhD)

Ambassador, he is a fellow in International History at the London School of Economics. His field of study is the social and economic history of precolonial and early colonial central and southern Africa. He practices fly fishing, and in particular loves small stream trout fishing.

 

Jonathan Molina

Guide, he is a student in

geomorphology at the University of Lausanne. His field of study is the understanding of hydropower plants' impacts on acquatic habitat.

He practices spinning and fly fishing.

He loves small streams that flow into the high mountains and searching big lake trouts in alpine lakes.

 

Nakia Bernasconi

Guide, he is an expert fly fisher and fly tyer.

We consider him one of the best nymph fisherman of Ticino.

He is able to catch fishes where others can't.
